Thanks for the post. There were a few celebrities who did what Angelina did as "precaution" . Back in the day you rarely knew someone with breast cancer (pre-1990). These days I know at least 10. I'm going to take a guess that it's the hormones they put in the food... probably why girls are starting their period at 11 years old.

While these tests are great for finding markers in DNA - it still feels like we're all at risk.

Thank you Renee. It does feel like we're surrounded by so much more risk these days, and with factors like hormones in food, lifestyle changes, and environmental shifts.

So I do appreciate more so being able to spot risks early on and make proactive choices. I know it’s not a perfect safety net, but it’s great to know there are ways to catch things early and take steps to protect our health.

This is the more reason we need more patient capital in the sector to fund these innovations that we need to close the gender health gap.
