I see it as well. Watching a few Drs addressing perimenopause/menopause on Ytube only invites more ADs for erection help. Ridiculous.

Exactly, Elise. The algorithm’s bias in health-related topics is frustrating!

I'd like to share a version of this on LinkedIn Let's Talk Women page.

It’s one thing to deal with censorship as a writer, but when it actively hurts people in the real world? That’s where it crosses the line. Seeing constant ads for men’s health while women’s health is buried or outright blocked—it’s exhausting. People need to grow up. We’re literally here because of a woman.

I knew I wasn’t the only creator who felt this way, but it’s worse than I imagined. The good news? More of us are speaking up. Even if it’s just a little at a time, I refuse to let them censor us. Platforms keep slapping on Killjoy AI bandaids that don’t even try to understand the world—they just say no and move on.

That’s why I’m building a space that brings attention to this problem. Glad I’m not complaining about it alone anymore, because you’re clearly not having any of it either. This is supposed to be a place for free thinking and good ideas, and if they have their way, we won’t be able to speak about anything. I fight with it every day, and this is beyond wrong. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

Completely agree. Love that you are building a space to bring more attention to this. The more people speak up, the more pressure there is for change.

Digital muzzle! Censhership.co.uk is trying to attack this too! It's ridiculous. Adds for viagra during family tv hour and we can't use the word infertility.

💯 Exactly! The double standard is frustrating—Viagra ads during primetime, yet we can’t even say “infertility” without getting flagged. This isn’t just about ads; it’s about who gets to access health information and who doesn’t.

The more we call it out, the harder it is for platforms to ignore. Have you seen any efforts actually making progress in changing this? Would love to hear your thoughts.

I know Censhership is trying to find work arounds and also recording these types of events to document the impact. I'm just going to scream Vagina on LinkedIn until someone makes me stop.
